All centers are open from 7 A.M. to 6 P.M. on the days shown below:
Greenback: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
Lenoir City: Monday through Saturday
Loudon: Monday through Saturday

Loudon County has three recycling and convenience centers, located in Greenback, Lenoir City, and Loudon.
Please recycle. Consider the following:
- The average person throws away about four or five pounds of garbage per day. This adds up to about one ton per year!
- Packing materials make up about 1/3 of our garbage!
- A three-foot stack of newspapers is equal to one 30-foot tree!
- The average American receives 248 pieces of junk mail per year!
These are just some of the reasons why recycling is a great idea. Please help us reduce the cost of landfill expense and and save landfill space!

Non-recyclable materials. The following materials are not accepted:
Notes on recycling. Please remember these important notes about recycling material at our centers:
- Paper must be separated into newsprint, magazines, and cardboard.
- Put cardboard boxes in the designated area.
- Put newspapers, magazines, and plastics into the appropriate boxes at the recycling area.
- Aluminum beverage cans must be recycled separately from steel and other metals.
- Used motor oils should be brought in a container for motor oils only. Do not mix oil with other engine fluids or pour oil out onto the ground.
- Please remove food and other articles from appliances.
